things I am enjoying: leisurely strolls

I suppose I walk with purpose. When I go shopping I shop with purpose. When I walk for exercise I do it with purpose, speedy, accelerated. Yesterday I was out in our Downtown area to exercise and baby definitely made me slow down.

Little Zakumi was descended pretty low, the warm spring air was on my face, the sun on my back, it felt nice to stroll. I made it to a cluster of stores I had planned on visiting 15 minutes before they opened and sat on a bench, took my water out of my bag, and enjoyed the scenery. I had an epiphany at that bench that I could take my time with all I had to do.

Given my obvious bump and the fact that I am not waddling yet I imagine that it looks lovely to watch a pregnant woman stroll.

I will continue to enjoy this in the weeks to come.

Don’t get me wrong though, I still like to move when appropriate…

Have fun GROOVIN’ your bum!

  1. Are those women actually preggo? Shoot I couldn't even do yoga without loosing my balance while preggo and I am a freaking dance teacher. LOL!

Good for you getting your stroll on. It's a great thing to do while preggo.

  2. Ha ha, the breakers are not pregnant. Just the back-up ladies. I showed this video to my husband and he forbade me, I mean I am not even allowed to go near inversions in my yoga practice these days.
