#1 here is my VLAWG after the triathlon
#2 I finally got my site back. While I was on vacation my sites were flagged by badware.org as being malicious. Nothing was wrong with them but I couldn’t access them via firefox, chrome, or safari until this morning when the flagging was lifted. That was highly annoying!
#3 I am coming out of Mercury Retrograde (where I told everyone my head would be stuck in the sand) with some crazy velocity because the end of this week kick’s off my BIRTHDAY MONTH with my actual birthday on Friday. Really nothing extraordinary in reality with the end of this week having me photograph an event the night before, teach yoga the day of and after, then course marshal a marathon on Labor Day.
#4 On a much more personal note. I have been hearing grumblings about me within Mamavation. It is only human nature that a group of women will gossip and not say nice things especially after having a bad day, etc. No biggie. However if anyone does have any real issues with me I ask that you speak to me directly. My email is bodhibearinfo/gmail. Beyond that, have fun with the haterade if it is the silly, inconsequential kind.
This week also throws me back onto my training calendar. I have a 1/2 marathon 9 October. My long run this week is 9 miles according to it. Hmmm, we’ll see how that goes on Sunday. I am also still close on the heels of the handstand push-up. I want it this weekend!
For food I am eating mostly paleo for a couple of days. I have a pin-up photo shoot tomorrow and looking forward to that being over. It is something way out of my comfort zone but I am gonna do it. I can do it. This is how I’m starting off this birthday month.
I also found a great cookbook recently that I am playing around with…
I am loving it with the raw recipes, eco-friendly living tips, mindful living tips, etc. There is even two pages on how to get inside a coconut for those that don’t know how.
Meals this week? Breakfast oatmeal dolled-up, eggs hard boiled or poached, smoothies. Lunch of salads w/ lean protein or leftovers. Dinners….MON grilled chicken w/ salad, TUES slow cooked pork tacos, WED black eyed-peas, collards, and rice, THURS salad (night out), FRI (dunno but it is my bday), SAT (dunno but going out for a concert), SUN spring rolls, rice and lean protein.
And I love this week’s Mamavation Blogging Carnival! What safety precautions do you take with your workouts? Any special equipment when working out outdoors?
I have definitely been more slack in this department lately and need to return to my more cautious habits. #1 I don’t wear headphones working out outdoors so I can be more aware of my surroundings. I carry ID especially in my reflective harness if I run at sunrise or after dark. I love my reflective harness and also have a neon orange jacket with safety reflective features that I got from my running club as well as reflective Yanks for my shoes. Outside in the day I have a fuel belt to stay hyrdrated on longer runs as well as a hat to stay cool. I really need to map some new routes and give them to my hubby if I don’t make it home when expected (this is where I am lagging).
This post is sponsored by Go Sport ID and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway hosted by Mamavation.
Come back soon. I’m going to be doing an Attune Foods Uncle Sam Giveaway later this week.
Have a wonderful week and Labor Day Weekend everyone!

Dooood, no rumblings here LOL. On a brighter note, I’m so proud of you for that triathlon! You are so hardcore and I’m so glad you enjoy it. XXOO
Your tri was SO inspiring! and WOO HOO on a pin up photo shoot!!! and… HAPPY BIRTHDAY (month)
I hope you know that at the end of the day, you touch more lives in a positive way than you may ever realize… even gave a little shout out to you in my post this week. You are an amazing soul.
You amaze me. The tri, the pin up shoot, the workouts, the all of it! You are an amazing woman.
A pin-up shoot. How cool!
Great job recovering on the tri. Pool water slightly unnerves me and I’m just not a very strong swimmer. Or rather, I didn’t grow up swimming and I haven’t had the desire to practice enough to become a strong swimmer.
On #4 – I love your attitude about this issue!
CONGRATS ON THE IRON GIRL!
It’s amazing seeing you accomplish this within a year of having a baby… it’s totally inspiring!
You totally rock! Sorry you have a target out on twitter, I love you still! I’m not very good about twitter time with my mom watching me so I’ll wish you Happy Birthday now. Hopefully you pull in some me time and family time. Way to push the comfort level with a Pin Up shoot. I’m sure it will be awesome! I’m planning on seeing you in October, but not sure on the date. Luv You!!
I can’t tell you how inspired I was by your Iron Girl tweets. Seriously. I don’t know that I have it in me but when I see you do it, I think ‘just maybe’.
I am ready to pull out the vaseline and take my earrings off! I didn’t know there was e-beef but who ever it is don’t want none! You are amazing and one of the reasons why I stick around. Annnnd I wish I lived closer cuz your meals sound the bomb.org.
Heya! Congrats on the triathlon! So inspiring! (I’m also a bit jealous cause I can’t wait to do one next summer). Happy early birthday – have a fantastic day tomorrow, I love you!
Woot! You are such a rock star!! I too loved following your tri tweets from last week!! You are such an inspiration and such a fun girl! Because of you (and other fitspirational friends) I am planning on doing my first tri!! So excited. Happy early birthday! 🙂
