2011 has been awesome so far. When I started the year I made three vision boards. All for areas of my life that I want to fine tune this year. One of these areas is relationships. I want to dedicate February to walking the walk of doing a tune-up on my relationships with those I care about.
I am horrible in that I have not sent out many correspondences and gifts to people that don’t live near me lately. Just this morning my husband and I had a tense moment because our communication was not clear. I want those in my life to know how much I care for them, and I fear this is not always the case.
Especially since having a baby I have been feeling like a flake with those I care about. In looking for my balance I sometimes over-extend myself to the detriment of my family. When I focus on family only I feel I neglect others. There is a balance in there. The vision board I created shows where I aspire and where I am doing well in some areas. In looking at it again I left a lot of area empty. As I figure out the best way to achieve a balance I will insert images and words. For now I know I care a great deal for the well-being of my loved ones. I feed them well when I feed them and I urge them to get outside and get active when we are together. It is all about the joy and heart.
For this month:
1. 28 handwritten correspondences
2. Mail 10 packages to those close to me
3. Analog date nights with my husband so I listen to him. Really listen.
4. Evaluate how I can more efficiently spend my time so more quality time is devoted to my husband and son.

Analog Date Night was awesome yesterday. In spite of Fussyboy. I called it #AnalogWednesday in a tweet. Definitely looking forward to more of them. <3
What is analog date night?
An analog date is time devoted to each other with little tech involved (e.g. no laptops, no smartphones, etc.)
Ahh hah! I like! 🙂
