Today and the past few days have been a complete clusterf*ck!
This week was rough, I started heart rate monitor training and got one 3.5 mile run in, taught yoga, went to mommy+me yoga with baby and then it went downhill from there. Baby got a bug and pulled some “Exorcist” stunts, I got little sleep two nights in a row comforting him. Then on Friday my check was in the mail and me and my hubby got sick and had a horrible 12+ hours. I went to a conference the next day on a strict applesauce, diluted soda, banana and cracker diet then went out that night where instead of eating I drank a beer that caught up to me way too fast so I drank more beer. Honestly the getting silly and drunk part was fun, I can’t lie. Then Sunday was not as restful as hoped.
The good news is that all three of us are better but our home is a mess, our schedules are off, and we are picking up the pieces of Hurricane Tummy Bug. As far a Mamavation I #FAILED by avoiding fiber (my tummy could not handle it), not drinking enough water (could not handle it), not sleeping (could not do it), re-introducing soda to my diet (my tummy thanked me for it), eating high GI foods (fiber again), and drinking alcohol in the form of one dirty martini and 3 1/2 beers (where I did maximize my joy with them!).

THIS is sick weight loss, not real weight loss, we’ll see this weight again by next week. Trust!

Nice! I bet one of those drinks was for me, right! Lol! I’m glad you had a fun night after a stressful week – those are always need once in awhile.

My first thought is ………at least you maximized your joy with the dirty martini & 3 beers!!! girl, i nearly needed a valium today when I showed up for my yoga class & to my surprise my instructor was absent……………..so another girl was there to teach pilates. I stayed for the class, but secretly wanted to be at home crying. Here’s strong hopes that this week will be better than last………the tummy bug is outta there, & that you have another weight loss this upcoming week! sending good vibes your way 🙂

Sounds like the best weekend ever? j/k So glad to hear everyone is feeling better, i know that can’t be fun, especially when the baby is sick. As hard as you work every day I’m sure you will have no problem getting back on track. *hugs*
Well at least you had a good time somewhere in there. I feel bad that you felt so bad this past week and got no sleep on top. This week can only get better, right?

I feel your pain! We all caught a nasty 24-hr stomach bug this weekend too. It was so horrible. Baby had it bad Thursday but was fine by Friday. He passed it on to us so we both woke up in the middle of the night Friday miserable. It was a very bleak Saturday. I felt like such a bad mommy. All I could do was lay on the floor and let the baby play around me.
If you felt like I felt you did NOT fail at all. When your stomach is all jacked up crackers are a better alternative than broccoli. 🙂
Being sick is no fun, then add everything else on top of it.
