VLAWG

O.k. to reiterate… injured but doing well.  I had some pretty bad pain and limited mobility in the last few weeks with old car accident injuries flaring up after a 4-day yoga teaching intensive but I am on the mend.  I have not run in almost 3 weeks now but I will be slowly getting back to it.  After today’s appointment I can get back in the pool for some laps.

I sold my 1/2 marathon registration and saw the pictures of the person who took my place in my inbox today. She looked like she enjoyed herself.  Oh well.  I would say next year but I actually have plans and may be preoccupied in mid-October 2012.

Anyway. I am going to take it relatively easy and as I get my body alignment back in order I’ll transition into simple heart rate monitor training (which is what I was planning for after the 1/2 mary anyway.).

I hope everyone is doing well.  Pardon my absence, but I was mildly depressed about my back and knee.  It was my process to deal with everything by not really being in the social space.

  4. I hope you feel better soon! Don’t push yourself — it’s important to give your body time to recover — but please don’t feel “down” about it! This is just part of the highs and lows of life … soon things WILL be better.
