5 Minutes. Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010. (Author: Patti Digh)
I loved the beautiful movements and calm of my pregnancy. I want to remember how my husband learned from a prenatal massage DVD and I got massages every night of my pregnancy. I loved the birth of my son on a cold weekend during a hot summer. I love how he was so simple to look after since we only had to cloth diaper him and not worry about clothes for a long time. I laugh how I was prepared for an early winter but it stayed warm and he never had a chance to wear winter suits before he outgrew them.
I love the milestones like my anticipation of his first laugh (at 94 days) but that it only got better with time.
Much of the highs of my year were associated with my little family. The thing I want to remember most is the three of us snuggly in bed. My husband and baby napping. The times of calm, slumber and smiles.
