VLOGgity VLOG VLOG VLOG

We finally got snow this week.  Not much, but enough to be cold and for baby to go for a leisurely stroll with me in it on Saturday.  Also enough for me to be necessarily prepped for cold-weather running.  I wanted to run on Saturday at the last minute but did not have my 20-degree weather gear laid out or more importantly gear for my baby to be snug in his jogging stroller.  I learned my lesson, our gear is ready to go now if I want to play in it.  Speaking of snow and wintery things…

Anyone want to do SECRET SANTA? I can set something up but need an idea of parameters, do folks want to do handmade, cap at $15, cap at $20? Let me know what you are down for IF you want to do it.  I think so far I’ll let folks sign up through the 28th of November and set a shipping deadline of 15 December through a 3rd party site like SecretSanta.com.  Let me know if you are interested.

This week was odd for me but I am feeling pretty good as it has progressed.  I want to CRUSH the hell out of the next two weeks of the MiLi Challenge.  My #1 priority – pig out on some good calories.  I have not eaten much the past two weeks with getting sick and then recovering, mama needs her noms!  My #2 priority – rest, rest so I can kill #3.  My #3 priority – cardio + strength-training.

This week’s scale pic

-1.6 pounds

See everyone at the show 😀

  1. I can’t believe I have more snow than you do! I know what you mean about those accident flare ups. Smart idea to get it checked out. You are doing awesome! Love the vlogs!!!

    1. Oh…forgot..Secret Santa sounds like fun!

    2. We have had very little snow this year. By Halloween we had 30″ last year, this year nothing. It has been very mild here so far.

  2. I remember ALWAYS being hot when I wore Ladybug in a front wrap/carry. She was a little furnace too (still is, when she snuggles with us at night).

Your goals for the week look great. I know you’ll rock that!

And yes, I’d love to do a Secret Santa. Cap at $15 would be preferable. Thanks!

  3. AHHHH, share the snow! Share the snow!! Even the ski resorts out here have to fake it with machine made snow at the beginning of the season. And intermittently throughout the season as needed.

  4. I had back pain too when I was breastfeeding. I had to get another chair. Got a lazy boy and it helped a bit. And it was so comfortable too.

Doood, I’d LOVE your pumpkin pie recipe! XXOO

And congrats on the weight loss…:)

  5. Was trying to find YOUR site when I got your comment on MY site!

  8. I’m driving to Iowa next week to see my hubby. I hope there is no snow there or either it is just there in the middle…gone on the drive up and back down to Bama.

I’d love to do the Secret Santa! I’m up for anything, can do handmade or not (Etsy is a great idea for those who aren’t crafty) and 15 or 20 is fine with me.

  9. Kia I love your vlogs!!! I love the background scenery, Colorado is such a beautiful state!

  11. What a great Vlog. This is really one of my goals too. I have a flip camera, but can’t seem to figure out how to easily get stuff on my computer and uploaded. Jeez! Love that area where you are hiking today. Never been in winter though. Maybe I’ll see you in Summer.
