My bump has gotten too large for many of my pants. My bump is getting too large to cover my bump all the time with the regular shirts I wear. I have transitioned into the world of maternity clothing. Oh dear, this topic scared me before I got pregnant. There is some fugly maternity clothing out there…
There is also some decent maternity fashion out there too. There is also the decision regarding how much of your bump you want to show off. I wore a brown jersey shirt dress last week with a high tie on it that I kept cinching so the roundness of who I am carrying kept being displayed. I loved it and wore this outfit to a yoga fashion show.
The thing that has surprised me the most with maternity fashion is how comfortable it is. The waistbands are soft. The cuts are generous. Any footwear decisions you make are made for your optimal balance and comfort.
Whenever you see commercials on TV for depression you usually see women in sweats since those are considered typical comfy clothes. After being in maternity clothes for a week now I want to know why the commercials don’t feature women in them. LOL!
Anyway, this post is dedicated to my maternity outfits. May they be as comfy on me and my bump when I am full-term as they are today!

Oh my!!! I have been in maternity pants since 14 weeks, but still able to use my non-preggo shirts. I fought the band pants for quite sometime, but i agree, they are incredibly comfortable!!

You should post pics of your fashions! We'd love to see your maternity findings.
I <3 maternity pants but maternity tops…those are a different story!
when i was preggo with my first son 18 years ago – the fashions were HORRIBLE! it was a nightmare to get dressed each day and truthfully – i just walked around naked mos of the time.
Hi,
You have a nice blog. A 40-week pregnancy is really just a blip in our whole life time, but the problem with clothing during that time is very painful. Keeping this in mind, two best friends and mother of two children each started http://www.bellybundles.com. We have high quality maternity clothes there and we would like to hear your feedback on our products.
Thanks,
