VLAWWWWWG
Here is a little post I did on my food philosophy.
Meal planning. Breakfast will be smoothies, hot cereal/fruit/nuts, or eggs and veggies. Lunch will be leftovers or salad. Snacks of fruit, cheese, nuts. And these are the dinners…
Saturday: Grilled Chicken and Cayenne Cabbage Slaw
Sunday: Lentil and Collard Soup
Monday: Southwest Quinoa Black Bean Salad
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Hoppin’ John
Thursday: Turkey Meatballs and veggies
Friday: Friday Night Yoga Club (salad, kombucha and raw yums there)
Saturday: Roast Chicken and veggies
For exercise I am teaching at least 3 yoga classes, attending one yoga event, crossfitting three times, working on my home yoga practice, and some cardio with either runs outside or my bike on the trainer stand. I need to really do some cardio with 4 races zooming in on me for next month.
I saw a good friend today, @invinciblekate, who does not live here anymore and is speaking at Fitbloggin. I thought I would not see her until May but was so incredibly giddy to see her. Now I am super excited for Fitbloggin too. There is a whole wish list of people I am ga-ga to see like @middleagedjock, @MizFitOnline, @YumYucky, @trulytrayce, @JenInRL, @katdoesdiets (even though we live in the same state), and so many more. And don’t even get me started on Fitcation after that, then the Hanuman Festival, then LOHAS, then the Fitness and Health Bloggers Conference. This is indeed a busy time and a good time to be approaching one year post-partum and feeling great!

First off, I am SO.JEALOUS. of your nice weather! I was so excited the other day because it was over 60, and sunny for over half of the day! LOL
Your Cayenne Cabbage Slaw sounds so good! I have some extra cabbage in the fridge that I need to use up, maybe I’ll give this a try.
You have a very busy few months coming up! Good luck on the runs in May, and have a great week!
Hmmm… your menu always makes me smile. I must check out Sunday’s dinner. Sounds delish.
Have a great week. Enjoy your crazy CO weather. I am jealous about the tank top and hat. We are still a few weeks off from that here.
Your menu sounds won. der. ful!
I’m super jealous of your nice weather too!
Good luck training for your races coming up. You’ll totally kick azz.
Have a great week, Kia!
Oh your menu sounds great, wish I could think of different meals that fast. Right now I just know two ways I want to make chicken this week. But I’m striving to do better. Had salmon last night and the kids loved it, may do it again. You sound so busy, way to go. :)Oh and I’m jealous of your weather, I’m down here in IN trying to avoid the rain/snow.
You are such an amazing, inspirational woman!! I am super excited to hear your views of crossfit. I hear Paula rave about it… and am curious to give it a try. 🙂 Have a fantastic week!
