Making the Leap (Blog Development)

I hope to be making the leap, not necessarily jumping the shark for my little blog here. I have found a better focus for it since I started it in mid-November. Then it was simply an outlet to talk about my pregnancy since I was keeping that a secret from my real-life community until we made it past the first trimester.

Now it is a place where I do get to interact with friends about health, fitness, pregnancy, community, and conscientious lifestyles. It also serves as a spot to find me if you want to privately converse about fertility yoga and prenatal yoga.

Another thing that has changed is that I have been communicating with entities wanting me to review/giveaway their products and I have been saying no. I am a firm believer of voting with my dollar for my beliefs and many products are not congruent to my lifestyle. While I have been lazy about transitioning my blog I was finally approached by an entity I can get behind. I finally said yes to a review.

Luckily I have amazing local support from in real life social media consulting friends and there are MANY online resources and helpful people who can help prevent me from being a doofus as I step up my game. I don’t plan to have any crazy baby events… I mean I am pregnant and will have a kid soon. I don’t want to stress myself with those kinds of commitments. However I do hope to be able to have some nice tangible things to share with you as this blog progresses.

Trust that I may still say no a lot. After all, this is my name and integrity attached to these words. Also, I will reserve the right to delete comments that are unnecessary. However if you have legit criticisms about how I do my thing (ethically or my execution), let me have it. I am a novice at this. I am also open to any advice you may have.
