This week’s vlog. FYI this was shot around 1 AM Monday morning at a local event as it was winding down. I thought I would bring some more real life into how we make our choices.

My week was great like I said. My hammies feel a little stronger and my tush a little firmer, you can’t be mad at that. My belly is growing though. It is not constant… I looked really pregnant on Friday after lunch but hardly showed during most of the weekend. At last night’s event some people that didn’t know me thought I was the photog brought into the event and wasn’t drinking since I was working. My husband told some people, that in fact I was 20 weeks pregnant and hanging out as an event guest. They apparently could not tell. Don’t get me wrong though, my uterus is growing and it is obvious to me in an incredible way even if everyone can’t see it yet.

As far as the food thing, I may need to eat more. My next midwife appointment is not until next Monday but I am headed over to see her at a potluck later this week. I may bug her about it then since we will be dining together. I think I need to eat more because of some tiredness I have been having, how my appetite has been a few hours after my workouts, and I think my body may be a bit confused with the work it needs to do for the baby and the work I am adding to it.

This week I want to go for 5/7 again with the workouts.

Here is some of my meal planning. I stayed up on Saturday surrounded by cookbooks and recipes to fill in a spreadsheet grid. This may get varied but simply shuffled w/in the grid. Veggies in vinegar and extra fruit are freebies and will be added in wherever I want.

Mon (b) cereal w/ fruit (l) salad w/ egg protein (s) broccoli w/ nuts (d) bbq tempeh + veggie slaw
Tues (b) smoothie (l) stew (s) cheese + fruit (d) bombay rice with veggies + turkey
Wed (b) veggie quesadilla (l) chicken/apple salad sammy (s) crackers, fruit + PB (d)beef + veggie stew w/ polenta
Thurs (b) savory grain salad w/ egg (l) potluck (s) cheese + fruit (d) potato bar
Fri (b) frittata (l) chx/apple salad (s) veggie quesadilla (d) tandoori chx w/ rice
Sat (b) savory grain salad w/ egg (l) salad w/ deviled egg (s) yogurt w/ nuts (d) stew
Sun (b) smoothie (l) tacos (s) citrus + almonds (d) breakfast for dinner (hubby’s
choice)

  7. Oh you bet. I am the designated driver and people love it. I even DD when I am not going to events but dropping off and picking up my husband friends so they can have fun and not worry about it. This is a first-time preggo luxury only, if we have a #2 I will not be running the preggo lady taxi service.
