There was snow and ice on the ground but my feet pit-patted a lot this week. Between Monday and Wednesday I estimate I did about 15 miles of walking in between errands.
Yesterday I brought my point-and-shoot camera along since I was headed 3.1 miles away to downtown to meet a friend for tea. Here is a bit of my walk.
Sharp-shinned Hawk a couple properties east of us. I had never seen one of these in our neighborhood before.
Sad little male with obvious asymmetrical antlers was kind enough to stay on his side of the street.I didn’t do a full 6.2 mile loop (I went about 4.5) because once the sun goes bye-bye it gets really cold and was already below freezing. I was also wearing black and greys and forgot my reflective harness at home. I hate being out in the dark in my neighborhood without my harness. In case you are looking for one here is the one I have had for years and I love it!
This is why I need this reflective harness, this is my street by the time I made it home…
Oh yeah, the bonus pic. I have never posted a belly pic before here and don’t know how often I will do it.
Mental note, clean that mirror!

Wow, I don't get to see reindeer very often. Only at the petting zoo..lol. I LOVE the baby bump! XXOO
I'm thinking of that time I saw a deer on my front lawn and called 9-1-1. hehe. So silly!
It's a baby! A baby! A new life is growing within. Enjoy this special time. Blessings to you!
AWWWWEEE your belly looks great! YES, many many blessings to you and that little baby in there! We have too many deer in our backyard…when we first moved in we made the mistake of feeding them…one night…20 showed up! NO lie! LOLOL 😀
OMG! My 2yr post-baby bump is far bigger than your 16wk bump – it's so cute! Don't worry – the belly will come – and shortly after it does you'll be wishing it away!
