I have found myself in the fandom of Ryan Marshall (the guy behind Pacing the Panic Room) for a little while now. He first got me with his stunning photography of his wife during her pregnancy, then the Walk to Forty Weeks shoot, I love his comments on leaving the kids alone (via Ohdeedoh), and here he is showing why he is a stand-up guy once again with his work to support Smith Magenis Syndrome research first via a foundation then with the DO FUN STUFF charity album. It really is a dad trying to do what is best by his son who is affected by this disease.
It wasn’t hard to twist my arm to support the viral campaign for this album. It drops today (30 August) via iTunes and Ryan has asked anyone in social media, IRL, anywhere to look at this album, buy it, or at least become familiar with SMS (Smith Magenis Syndrome).
Please have fun sampling this album that is billed as “A Kids Record for Parents” and chatter about it with the hashtag #dofunstuff. Download the widget, blog about it, get your friends to listen to it. Let’s make people hear about DO FUN STUFF and also support SMS research!
