I ran this week, I pushed myself in yoga this week, I worked my muscles this week. I ate well. This upcoming week I will be starting a running program with the Title 9 store in my area in preparation for their 9K on Mother’s Day. I belong to a running club but have been lame in not running with them. I am intimidated to run with them which is silly but I am. I mean heck, some of the core members of that club just got back from the Cross Country Nationals and did very well. In addition to their one training run I want to get three other runs in, two yoga sessions and three strength-training sessions.
This week will be busy but here is our meal plan…
Monday: going out- restaurant week near us, a place specializing in locally sourced food
Tuesday: chaana saag and brown rice
Wednesday: wheat berries, scallions, bok choy and eggs
Thursday: salad w/ grilled chicken + grilled veggies
Friday: chili dogs (sprouted wheat buns), sweet tater fries, brocolli and Kool-Aid (seriously, my hubby’s request this week – he has not Kool Aid in the 6+ years I have known him)

The stress I have been feeling with my son approaching nine months was not as bad this week. I distracted myself. I will be doing this until he is about 10 months. I know it. I am making sure to do it in a healthy way and exercise hard, be out with positive friends, or bury myself in some work I need to finish up.
