Even though the world of a mom can be frenetic and lonely there are certain bonds of sisterhood moms share. As someone who looks obviously pregnant I feel like I belong to this fellowship already. It is a nice place to be.
I have already connected with the Denver Mile High Mamas, my midwife’s monthly potluck birth lodge, my local La Leche League, my Mamavation sisters, the #bfcafe, and a mess of other people through my “mommy” twitter stream.
Two things I am looking forward to this month that other moms around me are doing are seeing the movie Babies that opens nationwide this weekend.
And then doing the Bolder Boulder 10K in the Sleepywrap Babywearing division on Memorial Day.
