Here I am this morning with frizzy hair after my mint tea. I am 35 weeks today.
***Will you leave a blessing, good wish in the comment section?
It has been a week, we finished our childbirth classes on Tuesday, had our first shower on Wednesday (my husband’s office), and a stellar midwife appointment on Thursday.
Hubby with some booty from the office party.
Things go into FULL SWING this week though. On Sunday we are having a big co-ed baby party. Next week my midwife, her back-up, and my doula will come for the home visit (this weekend we need to finish gathering our birth supplies). Apparently my next exam will be at that visit and my midwife wants to talk about herbs and oils to get this show on the road.
***What I am asking from you is to leave a blessing or good wish for me and my little family as we prepare to bring this baby into the world. I would like to print these words out for a tree at the party (it will be in a small orchard).
Thank you.

May I begin with my blessing for you and the baby?
I wish you a peaceful and comfortable final month of pregnancy, an easy transition into motherhood, and a blissful birth. I wish little Zakumi an exciting exit, an easy adjustment to this crazy world, and a refreshing first breath.
I also wish the baby competent, loving, and intuitive parents. Every child should be so blessed.
I love you, my darling.
I'm so excited for you and your hubby on this next chapter of your life. It'll be an overwhelming experience at first, but the joy, love and happiness that comes with your new addition is beyond any words to express. It's just absolute bliss. Much love to you, hubby, and the baby! — @ImAHotMom
Best wishes to you and your little family! You'll do great! -Ally

Good Luck with delivering your baby. This is a wonderful experience. Stay focused.
ALMOST GO TIME!!! You're gonna do fantastic!!! Enjoy the experience and soak up that baby. They grow out of that newborn stage SOOO fast! Its really sad. sleep when they sleep and except all the help you get offered. hehe. I learned that my last time. I actually turned ppl down when they wanted to bring us dinner bc i felt bad. DUDE!!! You will sooo appreciate it.
Stay strong during your labor and trust your body. Its truely amazing.
You will have a beautiful birth surrounded by wonderful loving people. May you and baby both heal fast and bond joyfully! Blessings to your whole family and caretakers!
Much love,

I believe the greatest blessing in life is to be a parent. May the blessing of your love be the greatest gift that you can ever give this precious little one. May you feel peace as you prepare to hold your child in your arms for the first time.
I love the Henna on your belly. It's adorable. You guys are going to have a wonderful, hair pulling, blessed journey through life.
I just wanted to say baby Zakumi is already blessed to have two amazing parents. Kia and Terry you are going to be amazing wonderful parents full of love and kindness. I wish for Zakumi a beautiful entry into this world and happiness and joy to follow her through out.
Love Always,
Cheryl and Shayne
Little baby Bodhi_bear you will have a wonderful mommy and daddy and all the love in the world. May you grow up and bring happiness and love to the world. XXOO
blessing to baby….You can tell just how great of parents your Mommy and daddy are going to be…as I am writing this you still have a few weeks to be born and your parents are already doing so much for you and you can feel the love they have for you already! As much of a blessing you are to them…you also are very blessed to have such great parents!
I bless Zakumi with consciousness for the planet, his/her fellow man, and most importantly for self. I pray Zakumi enjoys the pleasures life gives her/him as well as actively seeks ways to please others without harming herself/himself. These have been my greatest joys in life. There will be a lesson in each trial and journey and I pray Zakumi is open and receptive to each of them. Love to you all!
How exciting that soon Baby Zakumi will be born. I hope and pray that you have a safe, happy, and relaxing delivery. That all will go well. You have such a beautiful soul and will be such an amazing Mother. What a blessing for Zakumi to have parents that have so much love in their hearts!
I pray you have a happy, healthy and safe delivery. For Little Zakumi, I pray your journey is safe and happy ~ know that you are coming into a world full of love and hope. Though it may seem scary at times, your parents have created a community (offline and online) full of people who love you and are here to support you. Be blessed, little one.
Kia, my wish for you is that Zakumi's entrance into the world is as blissful as the time he spent in the womb. I hope your birth experience is empowering as you complete your transition into motherhood.
Being a mother is hard. It is at times mind numbing, back breaking, exhausting work. Just as it should be, for something that will bring you the purest moments of joy you may ever experience. You can't have one without the other.
