things I am enjoying: strength

I am feeling very strong with many things right now including my honesty, intuition, character, and I suppose physical strength. Perhaps I am at the end of the honeymoon phase of my pregnancy? I don’t know, but I am running with it.

While I may not be able to share all I do for those first traits I can share what I do for my strength-training. I am not a fitness expert, I am certified to teach yoga and prenatal yoga but that is it. Take what I do with a grain of salt and find your own workout that you feel comfortable with after you get doctor or midwife clearance to workout.

Here is my typical workout though:

SQUATS 3 sets of 15 reps
LUNGES 2 sets of 20 reps (10 each leg)
CALF RAISES 2 sets of 12 or 15 reps
SEATED PRESS 3 sets of 15 reps
OVERHEAD TRICEPS 3 sets of 15
PLANK 3 sets of 45 seconds

Hope it helps, pay attention to your lower loridosis (don’t pop the booty out too much), watch your alignment, don’t push yourself too hard, take time to recover between sets.
