Seriously DUBBED VLOG…
I had a great unplugged weekend. It was my husband’s birthday (which in our household means the start of BIRTHDAY MONTH… he gets to celebrate through Memorial Day). I threw a surprise party for him Friday night and wanted to camp this weekend but we had a cold front with snow. He had no desire to be cold so we hung local on Saturday and he wanted to take the baby to the Shambhala Mountain Center on Sunday to trek up to The Great Stupa of Dharmakaya for meditation and to make an offering.
Here are some pics we took of each other:

The week went well. We had a lot of stuff going on with the baby. My midwife and the clinic I go to for ultrasounds came to the same conclusions about my stats but had vastly different opinions about those stats. Midwife is happy with me and baby’s progress, clinic suggests I at least consider not doing a home birth because the baby is big. It is funny to see how this will play out, but know I will not be stupid and do the most informed action for me and the baby’s health. For now I am not worried about a thing.
I suppose my biggest motivation for my health is one of vanity. In about a week and a half I will be doing a short presentation on yoga for people who really love technology and have weak pectoral girdles > spinal alignment. It will be in a theater of 850 people and live-streamed plus recorded on video. I am just super self-conscious about my size so will be doing my best to look good for that night. Nothing like a vain goal, right? Don’t worry, no dieting or anything stupid. I have been too healthy and pragmatic this pregnancy to do anything silly now. I will just be diligent with the basics… rest, drink, eat, move.
I will see everyone tonight on the “Getting Through the Exhaustion” show on Mamavation. I will also be on to present the “Food Source” Eco-Challenge that will be posted in the morning. Be sure to check it out for a small giveaway based on your participation.

Check you out! You look great, and you'll do WONDERFULLY next week! How fun!

Hey, lady! You and your hubs are doing such a fabulous job of preparing for the wee one. You look healthy and happy, who could ask for more? What a blessed baby this will be!
Doood, start doing some weight training. You can totally do that while pregnant. You gotta get those thighs ready for pushing…and you can work on arms. The stronger you are the easier this is going to be.
BTW, you two look BEAUTIFUL in your pics! XXOO
I am strength training, it was actually the focus of my post last Tuesday
