Long video but includes dairy, wheat, and plate size info 🙂 as well as recap of goals
My goals from last week revisited:
1. Be prepared with meals and snacks so I have better nutrient density. CHECK
2. At least 8 servings of fruits and veggies/day. CHECK
3. Get in three cardio sessions this week. CHECK
4. Continue strength training and yoga. CHECK
I feel I am doing well after being under the weather for a couple of weeks. My goals for this week are the same as last with the exception of increasing cardio to 4x and to really focus on staying away from those EVIL, RAT-BASTARD empty calories!
I am 24 weeks preggo and this is me in the skirt I plan to wear in a St. Patty’s 7K in a few weeks. I am up 1 pound since last week. I see my midwife next on 9 March and will do an official monthly weigh-in then. I do like my shape and am meeting one of my early goals of embracing my pregnant body. It is cute.
Can you tell what is enriched bleached, enriched unbleached, and lastly stone ground whole wheat??
As for the dairy, here is a tour and some of the research I did on the place before I committed to it if you are interested in my process.
Don’t forget to attend the Mamavation show tonight to check in to week 7 of the 3rd campaign. AND if you want to be a sponsored Mamavation mom check out the site because the 4th campaign is just around the corner.

Great progress! Congratulations on your hard work.
Wow, I think I actually learned something today, lol! I think it's really great that you live close to shops that give you the wholesome and healthy foods. I am hesitating on that milk though lol. You are doing so great! I can't wait to see every bit of your vlogs and posts in the near future.
Yeah, I was super hesitant about a raw milk share too but did a lot of research on this one dairy in particular before committing to it. I would be as hesitant and research-heavy if I went to a different dairy.

ok first off you have the cutest preganat belly ever! I know that this always killed me, but I want to rub it and say hello baby… Ok and second I love that you talked about wheat and flour. When i was in college in my children nutintion class there was a whole section on this. I was floored at everything that I found. Keep going strong! *mauw*
seriously….i want to be you!!
you are such an inspiration thanks for all the kind words..
love seeing your belly grow, it is the most amazing thing isn't it.
xoxo
FIst bump for the Google Scholar mention, you made the librarian in me proud. LOL I learned a lot ~ I never think about flour and wheat and what I'm eating. I just buy what my mother (and probably her mother) used to buy, ya know? And awwwww for the baby bump. Take care.
Yay, Kia! I so wish I could get a share of a cow. I know there is a place not to far from here that does it – but I just don't have the space or time for it. Good for you – your baby will be spoiled with tons of healthy food. Lovely.
Keep it up mama, you are doing great!
Yeah, Daenel!! ::FIST BUMP::
I have much love for librarians and what they contribute to this world. I am great at researching and love how handy google scholar is even when having access to specialized academic databases.
Wow. You are so knowledgeable about food and your video is awesome!
Bleached is the first one (on far left), unbleached is the middle one, enriched the third one?
You always do good in taking care of yourself and in living a healthy lifestyle. You're such an inspiration to us. Keep it up! — @ImAHotMom
YOU seriously are too cute! Thank you for all that info…that was great. We are moving back to "clean foods" and already feel so much better. No white foods in this house…all gone! Other than white flour…for crafts…homemade playdoh! 🙂
great post…my hubby would love to come have a cup of milk with you…he loves the whole milk.
Doood, I LOVED that nutritional 101!! Do more do more do more!
You look great. awesome info. hope you are having a great week
