Perhaps it is because I am in the 16 1/2 week sweet spot I can ponder how active my pregnancy is going be. I really have no idea. In ideal conditions I can be pretty active with prenatal yoga, jogging/walking, strength training, and prenatal aquatic conditioning through 40 weeks pregnancy. This is IDEAL mind you.

To me pregnancy seems like basic adaptive management with a whole lot of variables out of your control. You cannot plan for every situation that strays from ideal (ask any healthy mama who has had a complication or two), but you can come up with creative solutions on the fly.
I have not listed my goal events for this year but let me just say that two are during my pregnancy. At 27 weeks I AM doing a 7K. At 37 weeks I MAY do a 10K. I have entry already secured to the largest 10K in the US on Memorial Day but will not be registering until day of because I honestly have no idea if I will be able to walk that far in that stage of my pregnancy. There is no way I can determine that 20 weeks beforehand.
Just know this, I own a few running skirts and already have one that will be able to take me to full term 🙂
As a note I have increased the consistency of my workouts for three weeks now and my body shows it. I am more toned in my upper tummy, booty, and thighs. I don’t think I have been doing anything extraordinary but I feel great. And no matter how crazy my body and aches get down the road I have one mantra with my yoga practice that will go through term, “pigeon is my friend.”

You write such nice blogs, sissy. I hope to learn from you. I can't wait to hear about the marathons and training that you do to prepare yourself for them. <3
