Color Me Rad and 14 Weeks

VLAWWWG…

This week will be kind of a toss up… I am involved with a local PodCamp this upcoming weekend but the Yoga Journal Conference is going up in Estes Park. My big hesitation on the YJ Conference is my pregnant body and not really getting to do a lot of yoga. We’ll see. I have been WIPED OUT lately and really should be sleeping more. That could be weight tipping the scales in favor to keeping my butt in Denver.

Things I have been pushing myself on lately are daily vitamins (a lot of vitamins) and eating a super, kind, dark-leafy green per order of my midwife.

I also need to do a one-week food journal for her. I should really do that starting sometime this week. My midwife is strict with food and how pregnant women nourish themselves. None of that “I can eat what I want” mentality when you are her client. That is just another reason I love her.

Have a great week everyone.

  1. That sucks about the high entrance fee, especially when you don’t know where it’s going, and the traffic, but it looks like it was a blast! So many purdy colors! :P

    1. Luckily I was comped entries in exchange for promoting this event however I feel like a jerk for promoting it to readers who paid. On the bright side they got a discount from my promotion and I went to a kick-butt brunch with a group of people once we were all free from the traffic jam.

  2. Yay! I love that you recorded your reaction right after the race (and the cameo by your hubby). I wish I could have been out there with you all running the race (even with the crappy traffic situation)- I love my Colorado gals!
Were you at Fitness on the Rocks at Red Rocks in July? It was awesome- but the traffic for that was a nightmare!

    1. I was at Fitness on the Rocks. I got there pretty early for the yoga so did not have too hard of a time getting in. I also parked pretty far off so hiked a lot to get in and out of the area.
