Holy canoli did I say “six weeks” a lot! I am trying to temper myself and rest during this time. I feel like a revving car, now watch me be exhausted by the time 25 July actually gets here. Oh that would be horrible. It would be horrible but babies have funny timing with their sleep schedules like that don’t they?

For me the sleep has been pretty decent with a newborn, the water has been excellent, the eating pretty good (I have been food journaling for a week), and the exercise has been non-existent. Today I strapped on the lillebaby carrier and walked the baby down to the track and back, my little guy crashed whenever I was walking. I will be doing some light walking because my midwife gave me permission to finally leave the house! Woohoo!!!

Congrats Jess (@all_about_savin) on Sista of the Week. Good luck to the applicants vying for campaign 5. See everyone on the show as we meet the ladies applying and hear more on the process. Also, as everyone gets healthy BRING ON THE SEXY!!! The sponsor for this week’s program is

It's pretty frustrating waiting the 6 weeks. I called my doctor at 3 weeks and begged and cried to do Pilates. He said no, but maybe some yoga just stay on "pelvic rest."

Shoot I'm having technical difficulties with the vid. I'll have to come back and check it out!

    Love you lady!

  12. Kia I am so in awe of you. I just can't imagine chomping at the bit like you are to get BACK to exercise. Do be careful when you get the green light, don't over do it. Thanks for the glimpse at the babe.

  13. You look very well rested and gorgeous as always. So happy to get to hear my li'l nephew in the video. 🙂 I'm glad you took the batteries out of the scales and that you aren't stressing about weight. You do seem very anxious for that 6 week mark, just make sure you ease back into it when you do get started again. Don't go and over do it! <3

  14. You are doing such a great job… and are such an inspiration to the other Mamavation Moms! Take care of YOu and the little man… *intentional* exercise will come soon enough. 🙂

  15. Kia, you're so inspirational! I'd love to take one of your yoga classes. I think you should come to Kentucky and do a seminar or something.
